Dirty Boots is the product development corporation founded by Gert Jan Pieterse, specializing in project management, research, product design, mechanical engineering, prototypes, and more.
Gert Jan has partnered for years with RescueNet. Drawing on his extensive experience in humanitarian aid and his sharp analytical perspective, he came up with a plan to develop a tent designed to improve rapid response in disaster zones.
This tent was created in close collaboration with RescueNet, ensuring that it was evaluated from practical and organizational perspectives for the most effective application.
At RescueNet, Gert Jan serves as the head of logistics.
He understands firsthand what it takes for an organization to reach a disaster zone quickly and the logistical challenges involved.
Active as an engineer since 2012, Gert Jan brings innovation to his work and has a strong interest in humanitarian efforts, sustainability, and the creation of smart, practical solutions.
